Meet the Drivers...
Charles Leclerc was being bombarded with questions about Ferrari's power unit, brake issues, chassis performance and the battle within the team. After a while, it was obvious he had answered the same topics countless times.
So we decided to change the subject.
First, we showed him his artist profile on Apple Music and told him who our favorite artist is and then asked:
"Let's change the subject for a moment. We noticed you're one of our favourite artists on Apple Music. When was the last time you played chess, and what was your Elo rating?"
Leclerc laughed and replied:
The last time I played chess was about three months ago with my brother... and I lost. I need to start playing more often because it's good for you. My Elo was around 1100, which isn't very high, so I definitely need to improve.

Lap 2
Max Verstappen
This Barcelona race weekend marked exactly 10 years since Max Verstappen's first Formula 1 victory — the famous 2016 Spanish Grand Prix, where the two Mercedes drivers collided on the opening lap.
That race remains one of the biggest turning points in modern F1 history, so we couldn't resist bringing it up.
We asked Max:
"First of all, we're big fans. Ten years ago I was working in a TV studio before the start and said it would be very interesting if the two Mercedes drivers collided. A few minutes later, that's exactly what happened. Do you think something similar could happen again this year?"
Max laughed and replied:
Maybe if you announce it again, it could happen! 🙂 No, of course we wouldn't hope for something like that. Our car should be good on a proper circuit like Barcelona, and the temperatures should be very high on race day, so we'll see.
Lap 3
Unfortunately, we don't have a photo with Lewis from the media pen — our phones were charging when he unexpectedly appeared. Timing is everything in Formula 1...
Given Hamilton's interests beyond motorsport, we decided to ask a question that connected racing with the wider world.
We asked:
"Lewis, you're one of the most recognisable figures not only in motorsport but also beyond it. What have your friends outside racing said about Ferrari's first fully electric road car, the Ferrari Luce?"
Hamilton replied:
I don't think I've spoken to them about it... actually, I did in a group chat with some of them. The reaction was pretty split, about 50/50. Some of them like it, others don't, which is normal. Some people like the idea of driving more sustainably, so I guess they like it.
